Our simple and clear guide to how we do business.
Placing Your Order
Follow our simple guide below to see how we handle your order from start to finish.
Please send your artwork before accepting a quote so we can confirm any VAT upfront, avoiding hidden fees later.
Fair Pricing & Secure Payment
We keep our payment process entirely stress free. First, you’ll receive a detailed quote tailored to your request. Rather than paying at a standard checkout, you simply settle the balance directly through the quote provided. Once payment is confirmed, we will issue your formal invoice for your records. It’s a transparent, straightforward way to handle your custom print job without any of the usual faff.
FAST UK DELIVERY • CAREFULLY PACKED • RELIABLE SHIPPING •
Shipping & Delivery
At Mint Print, we pride ourselves on getting your fresh prints to your door without the faff. We offer fast UK-wide delivery on all orders, with most items dispatched within 3-5 working days. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. We use reliable UK carriers to ensure your package arrives in pristine condition. While we aim for speed, delivery timelines are estimates and can be subject to carrier delays. Please ensure someone is available to receive your order as certain print bundles require a signature for peace of mind. If delivery fails after two attempts, the parcel will be returned to Mint Print. If we do not receive correspondence from you within 48 hours of us receiving the returned parcel, the items will be disposed of and no refund will be issued. Please note that orders containing multiple products may occasionally be delivered separately. This occurs when different items are handled by various couriers or complete the printing process at different times. As Mint Print does not store completed jobs, each part of your order is dispatched as soon as it is printed to ensure you receive your items as quickly as possible.
Returns, Refunds & Print Files
As our products are custom-printed to your unique specifications, we cannot offer returns or refunds once production has begun unless the item is faulty. It is the customer's responsibility to provide print-ready files. Mint Print is not liable for errors in customer-supplied artwork, including spelling or resolution issues. Please note that while we use high-end equipment, slight colour variations between screen and final print are a normal part of the process. Our liability is limited to the cost of the order, and these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Proofs, Prepress & Production
To ensure your estimated delivery date is maintained, please approve your digital proofs by 5pm; any approvals after this cut off may result in shipping delays. If you choose to skip the proofing process or approve a proof containing technical warnings, you accept full responsibility for the final printed output, and Mint Print will be unable to offer refunds or reprints for those specific issues. Occasionally, our studio or production team may identify further prepress concerns and pause a job. While we check files carefully to prevent this, such issues will be communicated with urgency and may affect your lead time. If unforeseen issues occur, we will provide full support to help resolve them as quickly as possible.
What We Can & Can't Print
Mint Print reserves the right to refuse any artwork that we deem inappropriate or illegal. This includes, but is not limited to, the reproduction of currency (money), content likely to cause offence, drug-related imagery, or material of a sexual nature. In compliance with UK regulations, all election material must feature a full and correct imprint; we will not proceed with any political orders that lack this information. By submitting your files, you acknowledge our right to decline projects that do not meet these professional and legal standards. Our decision in these matters is final to ensure we provide a safe and responsible service for all our customers.
VAT on Printed Items
Value Added Tax is required on specific printed products. As a general rule, all items sized A3 or larger are subject to VAT. After we review your submitted artwork, Mint Print may need to adjust your quote to include VAT if the purpose or design of the print makes it standard-rated rather than zero-rated. Our team follows official UK government guidelines to determine these classifications. To understand more about which materials qualify for zero-rating, you can refer to the gov.uk Notice 701/10 for books and printed matter. We are committed to making our tax processes clear and simple for all our UK customers. We recommend sending over your artwork before accepting your quote, to ensure VAT isn't triggered.
Returns & Refunds
At Mint Print, we take great pride in delivering high-quality, bespoke print work. Because our products are custom made to your specific requirements, our return and refund policies differ from standard retail stores. We aim to be as helpful as possible while maintaining a professional service.
Bespoke Nature of Goods
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, personalised or custom made items are exempt from the standard right to cancel. This means that once your order has moved into production, we cannot offer exchanges or refunds if you have changed your mind or if there are errors in the files you provided.
If There's a Problem
If your order arrives damaged or is not as described in your approved proof, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@mintprintuk.com. Please include your order number and clear photos of the issue. If a production fault is identified, we will offer a full reprint of the affected items as priority.
Refund Procedures
If errors or damages occur, we can provide a full reprint of your order. In some cases, we might need to collect the original items to investigate the issue thoroughly before finalising a refund or reprint. Partial reprints or refunds may also be arranged as mutually agreed. Any approved refunds are returned via the original payment method.
IP RIGHTS
Creative Ownership & Print Rights
When you provide artwork to Mint Print, you confirm that you own the rights to that content or have explicit permission to use it. While you retain full ownership of your original designs, by submitting them for print, you grant us a limited license to reproduce the work solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We won’t use your custom designs for our own marketing without asking you first—we respect your creative property as much as we do our own craft.
Terms & Conditions
01. Ordering & PrintReady Files
By placing an order with Mint Print, you confirm that you have the right to use all provided artwork. It is your responsibility to ensure files are 'print-ready'—high resolution (300dpi), CMYK profile, and including necessary bleeds. We offer minor tidy ups to get things press ready, but we're not responsible for errors in source files.
02. Colour Variation
While we use the latest technology, slight variations occur due to stock and screen calibration. Screen-to-print matches are never 100% guaranteed. We print to industry tolerances to ensure your prints look top-notch.
03. Pricing & Payment
All costs are in GBP. We will send you a formal quote first, and payment is made based on that rather than at checkout. Quotes are valid for 14 days from issue.
04. Delivery & Liability
We aim for fast service, with delivery times estimated at checkout. We're not liable for courier delays or incorrect address details. Our liability is strictly limited to the cost of the products ordered.
05. Returns & Refunds
Printed products aren't eligible for 'change of mind' returns. If there’s a genuine print defect or error on our part, we’ll sort it properly with a reprint or refund—let us know within 48 hours of receiving your order.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. By using Mint Print, you're agreeing to these terms.
Cheers for choosing us for your fresh prints!
Limitation of Liability
While we strive for perfection, Mint Print's liability for any claim—whether in contract, tort, or otherwise—is limited to the total price paid for the specific order in question. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, business interruption, or damage to reputation. Mint Print shall not be held responsible for errors in customer-supplied artwork or delays caused by third-party delivery services or factors beyond our reasonable control.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these terms and conditions.
